The Wood Sweepstakes Has Begun

Larkin Speaks Out
Barry Larkin, sick of what he calls "a rudderless ship" has asked the Reds to trade him or switch managers. He feels that since his role has been reduced, with the offseason draft of Mark Grudzielanek, he should be playing for a contender. "They need to get rid of the Old Man (Duke Robinson, Sr.) or they need to deal me." Some thought that the old man he was speaking of was himself, until he clarified it. Rumours say that Reds owner, Larry Korb, has been in contact with Scrapiron Jones and Duke Robinson, Jr.
